Drama of Consensus by Jennifer Gelardo at Ve.Sch Vienna, Austria My contribution in the form of a poem triggered and inspired by Jennifer's retro show 63rd 77th Steps.
i envy ur naiveté to be an interchangeable part. in a game of transactions. to be comfy with the suppression. to only hurt on the inside. to be able to pay for engagement with pro fanatic. with the easy. with the new generation. with the successes of another. only to taste it. to test the waters.
not to dive in. deep. to the very core of desire to create and experience art. to recreate. to reproduce. to reflect. to de flect. and to be defeated. all day every day. and rise. rise above the material. above the object. above the viewer. above mortality. to become death itself. for a second.

This time Jennifer presents/premieres her video work: Drama of Consensus. With this show, she continues to advance her research on the forms of contemporary evaluation strategies to confront herself with the extent to which exhibitions of art can be helpful for participation in the social game. In Other words: "How can artists reappropriate the discourse in which they have always participated re-appropriate and reclaim it as a practice?".
Teamwork, group projects, networks, collective use of resources, sharing and commons, swarm intelligence, friend requests, alliance building, and complicity. All of these forms of interaction, referencing, and apparent reciprocity are an expression of a paradoxical relationship between the individual and the collective in our contemporary society: increased individualization goes hand in hand with a simultaneous need for community.

AISTHISI NFT Digital and physical Drop focused on merging Greek Olive oil and sophisticated protocol via Proof of Harvest.
I curated couple of artists and produced digital work that reads pretty modern via combination of materials - holo paper and steel bottle. Considering original graphic is made in 19s century by unknown artist.
